Good afternoon golfers, we hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend and we trust everyone is enjoying some good golf. The golf season is now in full flow and after 3 wins in two weeks from PING players- Bubba Watson, Lee Westwood and Miguel Jimenez we would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone we have a full range of PING demo clubs for people to try.

We have had a busy week at the Club with a Midweek Medal on Tuesday, the Posh Golf Day on Wednesday - with the first team players, coaching staff and the manager making an appearance and a Seniors Stableford on Thursday. The course has taken the traffic well and is in good condition.

• Divot Party on Monday meet on the 1st Tee at 5pm. Followed by food in the clubhouse afterwards.
• Ladies Captain's Charity Day on Tuesday. The tee is closed from 9.15am - 3.30pm

Adam and I are playing the Northants PGA Strokeplay Championship at Kingsthorpe Golf Club this coming Monday. This will be played over 36 holes - fingers crossed for a good day!

Get into golf

The junior coaching has started for the season. With new golfers from the age of 5 trying golf for the first time. If you know any juniors who are interested in taking up golf please contact us. We have a FREE 10 week course available for all juniors.

Adult beginner classes - the first 6 week course of the year has finished and we have more already planned. If you have family members, friends or work colleagues who you think might be interested in a 6 week beginner course please pass on their details or contact us for more information.

Improve your own golf

With the golf season now in full flow the popular group lessons will be starting again. We will be running a selection of these types of lessons throughout the season. The cost is £5 per person and please register in the pro shop. If you want an individual lesson we have different lesson packages available, which are designed to match your specific needs.

Ladies putting group lesson on

• Bunkers - Friday 2nd at 9.30 am
• Putting - Wednesday 7th at 10am
• Chipping - Friday 16th at 9.30 am

Senior short game clinic

• Tuesday 6th at 9am

After work coaching

• Full swing - Wednesday 7th at 6pm.

Slicers club

This is a group lesson for people who curve the ball too much to the right (for a right hander) or to the left for left hander.
