Scotty Cameron Day
On Friday 22nd June between 10am-2pm we are hosting a Scotty Cameron Experience Day, where a Titleist fitter will have the entire range for you to try and to be custom fitted.
Often custom fitting in putting is overlooked, however as the putter is the club you use the most, you could argue it is the most important club in the bag. Contact us to book your place.

This week we are taking about chipping, there are two key parts to chipping: the strike on the golf ball and where we land our shot.
In order to strike the golf ball we need to make sure that we have the correct setup.
1. The ball needs to be middle or slightly back of centre, which will help us to keep the hands infant of the ball at impact.
2. 70 percent of our weight should be on the front foot
3. The club should travel on a downward angle into the golf ball, this will make sure we contact the ball first and then the ground.
The second aspect of chipping the ball is landing the ball in the correct spot, we have a drill that will really help with this. Please see the video on our YouTube channel.
Practise this and you will be getting up and down more regularly.
Let us know which area of the game you would like in next week's tip of the week to focus on and we will do as many videos as we can!
