Good afternoon golfers, I hope you are all well and enjoying the season being underway! The white tees are out, with matches and competitions coming thick and fast, how is your game? We are all trying to get back into the swing of things and getting some practise in and some time on the golf course. The course is in great condition ready for the Northants Winter PGA Pro Am next Wednesday with Aaron, Adam and I all taking part. Finger crossed for some good golf!

This week's PGA Tour Event is the Arnold Palmer Invitational which takes place at Bay Hill, for the first time since his passing in September. Whilst it will be sad not to see Arnold Palmer giving the winner a hug and their prize, with the world's top players taking part I am sure it will be a special tournament, celebrating the golfer who inspired an 'Army' and who was one of the leading figures in making golf in to what it is today. Check out this video celebrating his career which the USPGA have produced. Players have also been paying their own tributes throughout the week, with many of them will have Arnie's signature logo on the front panel of their golf bags. Ricky Fowler's is wearing some pretty special golf shoes this week.

Range news

Range closure - New balls please!

You'll be happy to hear we are having new range balls from Monday morning, so we the range will be closed from 8am-11am to give us time to clear the range and load the new balls. If anyone has any baskets of the old balls in boots of cars etc., if you could bring them to the club over the weekend as this will allow us to only have the new shiny ones in use!
