Good afternoon golfers, I hope you are all well. 

Last weekend we hosted the Northants Higgs Bowl which 159 players from around the county came to play at PMGC. The conditions were blustery and scoring was tough! 

Cold Ashby's Stuart Nicholas (3 handicap) won the main prize with a score of nett 69, PMGC member Robin Williams won the gross event with a great score of 70 (-1). 

The course was in fine condition and we received so many positive comments from home and away players.

The Super Sixes event starts on Saturday at The Centurion Club, a new format to the European Tour has 16 Nations competing. During the group stage each 2 man team will be playing green some matches over 6 holes, the top 2 teams from each group will then progress to the knockout stage. The groups for Saturday are: 

Group A - England, Denmark, The Netherlands, India
 
Group B - Thailand, Spain, Belgium, Scotland 

Group C - Australia, Wales, USA, Portugal 

Group D - South Africa, France, Sweden, Italy 

If you're looking for something to do this weekend it's only about an hour or so away from us and there are still tickets available!
