The US Open
It's the US Open this week at a new venue, Erin Hills. Looking at the course the fairways seem much wider than normal which could play in to the long hitters hands, however I am sure the long rough will catch plenty of players out and the greens look treacherous as always. Dustin Johnson is the favourite this week to win two in a row and the course seems to favour him with his powerful long game. I have got a feeling Alex Noren will go well and I am sure it will be great viewing.

Maintenance Update
We have had light greens maintenance this week and Stephen and his team have been busy tining and top dressing, the greens are back running smooth and fast!
Opening Week
The studio opening week was fantastic and we would like to thank people for supporting the events we put on, the feedback we have received has been incredible and I am sure it will help many of us (we have been managing to get some early morning practice in!) with our games.

Longest day challenge
On Tuesday 20th June, four of us will undertake the longest day challenge playing for rounds in a day with our first tee at 4am. We are doing this to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and all of the amazing work they do, providing support and care for so many families. Group Coaching
Our group classes have started this week and they run every week as follows:
Tuesday 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Short game- looking at all areas of the short game and making sure you are not losing vital shots around the green.
Wednesday 12.00pm - 1.00pm
Ladies Group Coaching- each week focusing on a new area of the game to improve your all round performance.
Thursday 6.30pm - 7.30pm
Drills class- Get an hour's worth of practise in an hour using specific drills to ensure you're working hard on your game.
Each Class is £10 per person

New In - Callaway Epic Irons
The Callaway research and development department were set the task of making the best iron possible without any limits of cost while still conforming to the rules set by golfs governing bodies.
And this is what they came up with, the Epic 2017 iron. It fits in with their current Epic metal wood ranges and the technology in this iron is on the limit. On completion of the iron it even surprised Callaway on how far and how accurate the iron is.
