Good afternoon golfers,

What a week it’s been… well to be honest it could have been better, but we have to accept it might happen this time of year. The snow on Sunday meant the stableford was cancelled, it has been rearranged for Christmas Eve and the original start sheet stands.

This year is the first year that we have had the use of the indoor studio and what a difference it has made for both members and ourselves. We have been able to continue teaching our golfers and the members have been able to play golf with the golf course closed. With this said, it's great the course is open, but please take care on the paths as it's still slippery in places and where possible avoid using trollies and buggies.

We look forward to seeing you over the Christmas period and will be serving mulled wine and mince pies.

Studio PMGC vs. Luffenham

We had a studio challenge match on Wednesday in which we took on the three Pro’s from Luffenham Heath in various formats including: putting shoot out, long drive, Texas Scramble and skills tests, thankfully we won so have bragging rights at least until the re-match! It was played how golf should be... competitive, but really good fun! The snow and dark nights don’t have to stop you playing or practicing!

What do you get the golfer who has everything? Lesson vouchers are always popular this time of year and offer a chance for golfers to have a great 2018 on the course, we have a few options available:

30 minute lesson - £25.
Indoor studio lesson - £45.
Indoor putting lesson - £45 (using latest technology in putting coaching).
Silver package - £135 (our most popular voucher).
Gold package - £250.

We offer coaching seven days a week and until 9:00pm from Monday - Friday in the studio, so the cold dark nights don’t have to stop you improving and the clubs don’t have to be put away for the winter.

Christmas message - Thank you all so much!

This is our last ‘full newsletter’ of the year and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support, help and friendship this year and since we started as ‘Head Professionals’ in April 2013 - wow where has that gone?

This year has been a great year, we have launched our coaching academy, opened a state-of-the-art studio, recruited a top Professional and the best achievement of all, Adam and Sophie had a little boy, Jack! He is a happy and healthy boy and even mum and dad are getting some sleep.

We all very lucky to be at such a fantastic club, where we have many friends and is a great place to work. We will continue to work hard and strive to improve across the board.

We would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas, a successful, healthy 2018 and we look forward to having a game or two next year!
