We hope you had a great Easter weekend, unfortunately the wet weather put a stop to much golf being played, the course reopened on Tuesday. Let’s hope the conditions are a lot kinder and we can get some golf in! Enjoy this week’s newsletter!

The Masters The first major of the year is underway, a great few days of golf and viewing coming up, and we are sure we will all be on the edge of our seats on Sunday evening! Will we get a European winner? Ian Poulter could be set for a fairy-tale win after qualifying as the last man on Sunday night with an amazing win at the Houston Open! Staring down a long putt on the 72nd hole he needed to force extra holes, he duly holed the putt across the green and won on the first extra hole. You could see by his celebration just how much his first win since 2010 meant.

The Par 3 Competition on Wednesday was a great event in its own right to get you ready for a long weekend of binge watching golf! Tom Watson won the competition after shooting an incredible -6 in the Par 3, having only 8 putts in 9 holes. We are sure Tommy Fleetwood and Tom Pieters won’t mind losing by a shot! The same player has never won the Par 3 and the Green Jacket in the same year. It was great viewing, seeing family and friends join the players for a fun day before the main event starts. To see Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson exchanging birdies was awesome!

Put your name up in lights |
It only comes around once a year and it’s that time again - Masters week! The first Major of the year takes place at Augusta National this week, which we always take as a sign that the season is getting underway. With this in mind, we have one question for you: are you ready to play your best golf this year? |
Maximise your potential We've all sat looking at the honours boards in a clubhouse before, admiring the one name that appears to be on most and thinking 'wow, they must be pretty good!' Well, how good would it feel if that name up in lights was yours? If you come and speak to us we can talk about your strengths, weaknesses and goals for this season and look at the best way to help you achieve them, whether that’s a one-off fault-fixer lesson, regular sessions to aid your consistency or perhaps a look at your equipment. |
