We hope you are all well and enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend. It was a busy few days at the Club with many of you taking advantage of the long weekend of golf. Adam has had a few days off to spend some quality time with Sophie and Jack, he will back tomorrow refreshed!

Course news

Keep it the way we like it!

The course is currently in fantastic condition, and we receive positive feedback on a daily basis regularly hearing “it’s the best course we’ve played this year”. Let’s make sure we continue to our bit, repairing our pitch marks, divots and raking bunkers. None of us like it when we have to play a shot from a divot or footprint or our ball is knocked off line from a pitch mark!

Gapping - Do you know how far you hit it?

More often than not, golfers think/feel they hit it further than they do. In a game where you are able to know the exact distance you have to the hole (using a laser or GPS), it is vital you know how far you hit each club on average. In a gapping session, you will hit every club in your bag, so we can give you your full yardages (carry and total). Think of the confidence you will have when you know you’ve got the right club- the game is challenging enough, let’s take some of the guess work out! It will also highlight any issues with your set make up, such clubs that go the same distance or too much of a gap between clubs.
