Hello golfers,
Many thanks for taking the time to read this week's newsletter. We trust you are all well and have been getting as much golf in as possible. It has been a busy week at the club with finals and the last few matches of season being played. The clocks goes back next month which unfortunately puts a stop to the golf and practise after work!
It's a busy day for us as we are get everything together for the Pro Day tomorrow, with over 140 members playing it promises to be a great day. If you are not playing but would like to be involved in the day, BBQ tickets are available for £6.50 per head (it will run from 1pm-7.30pm), please feel free to bring family and friends along too! Raffle tickets will be available all day and we have some great prizes on offer. Fingers crossed for some good weather!

Adam and I played a Pro Am at Chelmsford Golf Club last week with two teams from the Club. Unfortunately, I didn't have the best of days shooting 74 (+6), Adam was in better form shooting 69 (+1). Adam is playing Luffenham Heath today and we have two Pro Ams next week one at Belton Park and the other at Scraptoft taking teams from Peterborough Milton.
We have had two victories in recent Northamptonshire County Golf events by Peterborough Milton, winning any event at county level is a great achievement.
Tom Burgh and Adrian Randall won the Stapleford Cup at Kingsthorpe Golf Club with a total of 80 points for 36 holes. Scoring 38 in the morning greensomes followed by an impressive 42 points in the afternoons betterball - including a great finish of 16 points in the last 5 holes.
On Tuesday Richard Cole successfully defended the Northamptonshire County Senior Championship shooting a solid 76 at Whittlebury Park. The Peterborough team of Richard, Ted Dunn and Dougie Hill also won the team event on the day as well.
