The big test of how those games have improved and how routines will stand up to pressure comes this Sunday with the boys v girls Milton semi-final showdown. PMGC A (Kai, Morgan, Euan, Harry plus squad members Sam, Rajeev and Adam) and PMGC C (Jade, Shivani, Emily, Hannah plus squad members Megan and Ellie) have both topped their leagues in the Northamptonshire Junior League and face off in the semi-final on Sunday morning at Rushden. may the best team win! Another big thank you to the Pro Shop for generously sponsoring the inaugural Junior 3 Club Competition, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the competitors. Showing that it's not all about smashing your driver 300 yards, were boys winner Adam Barker (40 points) and girls winner Lisa Johnston (37 points) - two great scores with only 3 clubs. Away from the Milton fairways, well done to Kai Raymond who finished a creditable 20th in the national final of the Wee Wonders Tournament at St Andrews. Ellie Horsted was part of the winning Northamptonshire handicap team at the Midlands South Girls Championships. Jade Roberts and Shivani Karthikeyan both won their matches as Northamptonshire Girls Scratch Team won the Midlands South Regional Final. Milton's juniors continue to play well in the Northamptonshire Junior Order of Merit with Oscar Bell and Jacob Williams having several great results in the boys event, Shivani Kathikeyan winning again in the latest round at Cold Ashby to head the girls standings and Isaac Wakefield also winning at Cold Ashby to move into the grand final reckoning for the 9 hole academy players.
