Police Charity Day

Adam and Andy played in the Police Charity Day with Milton members Paul Newton and Lee Talbot.

The sun was shining and the course is in great condition considering it’s December and after the weather we have had. Andy and Lee scored 41 points.

Milton members Bill Agnew and Paul Glossop won the day with a great score of 43 points.

Tip of the week with a twist

A slightly different tip this week but one we feel is important as we are getting a lot of trollies in for repair as a result of people having pressure washed their trollies. The trollies are electrical items and don’t like water getting in to their internals.

When cleaning your trolley, make sure to use a brush to get rid of the excess mud and then a wet cloth staying away from clutches and battery/controller terminals.

Even if trollies are under warranty and have water damage, it is extremely hard for to get the part replaced free of charge.

How times have changed

We've got a little task for you. Next time you're down the club on a busy day, have a look around and count how many golfers are using an electric trolley compared to those that aren't. We think the number might surprise you...

Waterproofs. Mittens. Woolly hat.

Golf at this time of the year requires the lot, which can make carrying your golf bag an absolute nightmare!
