Club Amnesty
As most of you would already know we are running a PMGC club amnesty this month, this gives you the opportunity to turn your old clubs into cash. The feedback we have had is real positive and it's given people a chance to have a clear out of their old clubs (which most of us have been meaning to get rid of for ages!). Most golfers (ourselves included) are guilty of keeping old clubs thinking they will use them again, more often than not you don’t!
So if you have old clubs collecting dust why not bring them into the shop and let us sell them on your behalf?
Members are able to buy the clubs we have listed online, please contact us for more information and check out the items here

Daily Mail
The PMGC Mail on Sunday matches start this weekend with the first match being away to Oundle, good luck guys!
This week we are continuing on the same theme of improving your impact position. Sqauring the club face at impact is something that many golfers struggle to do. This results in shots that curve a lot with the driver, which intern results in a loss of distance.
The best way to learn how to improve distance and the release of the club properly, is to allow the club to fall on gravity. After all, it really doesn’t take a lot of physical effort to swing the golf club…..when your body pivots at 2 miles an hour the club is traveling at 80mph!!! We have all seen people trying to overpower the golf club, by throwing themselves at the ball, rather than allowing the club to do the work.
Try this drill it will amaze you what you can do.
Grab some practice balls and your pitching wedge, swing the club with your right hand only (with your right hand in the position it would normally be on the grip), get a real feel for the club falling on gravity from the top of the swing. By letting the club swing you will feel the weight of the club pulling you to a finish.
Do this a few times making sure that you still make a turn back and through. Once you have got the feel of this, try hitting a ball from a small tee. The trick to this drill is to let the club swing on gravity with no extra effort or force. You will be surprised how well and far you can hit the ball.
Please be aware this is not suitable if you have any injuries.
Have a good weekend, see you all soon
