Ladies Results-February Winter Competition
- L.Gill / H.Simpson / K.Trevor 77 points
- H.Long / S.Hennigan / L.Smith 74points
The winner of the ball lottery was Tony Gamble with number 36 for your chance to win a dozen Titleist Pro V1s for pop into the Pro shop.
How about practice more course specific, hitting different shots/clubs at different targets. As you are going through your routine. Perhaps adding some one ball putting and chipping practice to ensure you are making your game as sharp as possible ready for the medals and competitions this season.
One ball practice makes you focus more on hitting the chip closer and getting the ball up and down. Quite often we see people hit the same shot over and over again without much thought for where the ball is finishing. Practise like this does have its place especially if you are working on a certain move in a swing etc or a practice drill. So we recommend some practise with just one ball when you are chipping to try and focus on getting the ball close and get used to only having one chance to hit a good shot, similar to being in a course! Club Amnesty
We will be listing more clubs early next week, so keep looking on our eBay store if there is anything you are interested in please let us know by clicking here. We have sold a lot of clubs so far this month and turned members old clubs into cash. It has certainly kept us busy!
New in or what's coming
We have some exciting new ranges and products we will be stocking for the very first time. These are due any day soon and we look forward to having them in for you all to see! Personally, I think you'll be impressed by the Sketchers shoe range. Golf shoes are a new market for them, however Sketchers sell millions of pairs of shoes/trainers worldwide and I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
New brands include:
Plus the new spring summer ranges from Galvin Green, Glenmuir and FootJoy.
Thank you for taking the time to read this weeks newsletter. Look forward to seeing you all over the weekend.
