Luffenham Pro Am
Last Friday Adam and I along with 6 members fromPMGC played in Luffenham Heath Midlands Pro Am,everyone enjoyed the day with Adams teamcontending for most of the until a few latescores knocked them to 6th place. Adam shot 73and I fared worse shooting 76. On Tuesday wetook two teams to Northampton's PGA Pro Am, inwhich Adam shot a good score of 70 (-2) and Iwas 76 (which seems a regular occurrence at themoment!) although our team fared well finishingon -8.
I would like to take this opportunity to thankeveryone who has supported us in Pro Ams thisyear, it's been great fun and very enjoyable tobe able to have a game or two with a lot of you.If you are ever interested in playing in any, please contact us.

Adam's tip of the week.
The same old story or the only story.
Something I see in a lot of the lessons I teachis people's swings being out of balance and as aresult they inconsistent and have poor timing. We can all be guilty of over complicating ourown golf swings. Some of the key ingredients toa repeatable and successful golf swing aresimple to work on, but shouldn't be overlooked, these are balance and timing both of which youcan't be too good at or have too much of in yourswing. If you want to hit the ball betterstraight away, try this: put your feet together, with the ball placed in the middle of yourstance and make some full golf swings withoutlosing your balance. You might need to startwith some smaller and slower swings.
You will find you will start to hit the ballbetter after just a few shots. The ball flightwill be more consistent and there will be anoticeable pattern providing you can keep yourbalance.
If you find your pattern is something you wouldlike to change then let us help you improve yourgame.
The great teacher Michael Hebron states 'balance and timing are not the same old story, they are the only story and must be our firstconsideration, when trying to improve our golfgame'
One our assistant's Aaron, tops off a fantastic few summer on the course, winning Club Championships, being cut to 2handicap and winning/contending in morecompetitions by turning 18 today!
