PMGC Junior Update
It's been a great year for our juniors and theyhave a big weekend coming up.
Both our junior A and B teams have played greatgolf to win their qualifying groups in theNorthamptonshire Junior League. On Saturday theyboth play their semi-finals at Kettering GolfClub - the A-Team taking on Staverton (13.30 teeoff) and the B-Team taking on Collingtree Park(14.00 tee off).
Our juniors with a handicap of over 13 have alsobeen taking part in the Cambridgeshire FriendlyCup and have performed really well to reach thefinal on Sunday at Brampton Park against StNeots (Tee off 10.30).
If you fancy cheering the teams on and watchingsome great golf on Saturday or Sunday why nothave a drive over to Kettering or Brampton?
So very best of luck to Aaron, Robin, Benjamin,Sam, Charlie, Michael, Jacob, Jade, Jake, Owenand Kai (and well done to Ben and Nathan forhelping get us there) - whatever the resultsthis weekend you have all done Milton proud thisseason.
Thanks
Charles Gunn

Adam's Tip of the Week
Do you struggle to hit your irons shot flush, doyou regularly fat iron shots or are losingdistance with your irons?
Well it's time to make sure you are hitting theball first, which will gain more distance withbetter control. What you need to do is make sureyou get your weight on to your front foot whenyou strike the ball. Remember the divot shouldalways be after the ball- ball then turf!
Drill
Place your golf towel 6 inches or so behind thegolf ball (see photos), now try to hit the ballwithout hitting the towel. This will encourageyou to shift your weight onto your front footand hit down and through the ball properly. Hit20 balls like this and you will start to learnhow to miss the towel and strike the ballproperly, you will be surprised how far the ballwill go and the extra control you will havegained.
