Our epic day out at Royal Birkdale Golf Club

Yesterday Sam and I were invited by Michael Wood for a day at Royal Birkdale Golf Club, which will host The Open Championship once again in 2026. There have been many changes to the course since I last visited in 2017, which really are great additions. What a fantastic venue it is, with its rich history of Open Championships. The course is world-class and true links test. I can’t wait to see how the worlds best fare in 2026.

Michael, thank you for the invitation and a day we will remember for a very long time.
